Estate Disputes

No-one likes to watch a family in dispute over an estate.  Whether it be a claim for provision, a dispute between executors, or the validity or interpretation of the will.

The incidence of estate litigation may be curtailed where a deceased’s will has been prepared by a lawyer.   Arrangements put in place during life are less expensive then actions taken after death to rectify a will or interpret the provisions of a will.   This also comes with the risk that the Court’s ruling may not coincide with a deceased person’s wishes. 

We have acted for executors and beneficiaries in disputes involving deceased estates.  In these matters, we take the same approach as other litigation by preparing well with the aim of securing a favourable outcome for our clients.
